MTMVR is a uniquely quite and peaceful working 700 acre horse ranch. The ranch is nestled next to the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex with a breath taking view of the mountains and the expanse of the "Flats" from the front porch. Enjoy the beauty of the horses and mules as they trail into the corrals most mornings. (Some love carrots!) Be greeted by our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Enjoy the hospitality that only can be found in the rural setting of Montana.
There are so many places to hike around the ranch, from the trailheads or across the road on state land. Wonderful area to let your dog enjoy the freedom to run and play.
Close by is the North Fork of the Blackfoot, Blackfoot River, Monture Creek, Cooper's and Brown's Lake. Licenses are available online or at the Blackfoot Angler in Ovando, 406-793-FISH or angler@blackfoot.net.
RV site and corral space for you and your horse. Ride from the ranch or ride from the 3 different trailheads within 15 miles of the ranch - Lake Creek, Monture, Dry Creek Trailheads. You will ride into the national fores and wilderness areas from these trailheads.
We always have snow here at the ranch. Bring your snow machine, x-country skies, snowshoes and/or just enjoy the solitude of the winter wonderland.
